General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the PCPD will soon feature a new face on the force.
TV Guide confirms that when Jonathan Bennett makes his first appearance as Joe Fitzpatrick, fans will quickly find out that he’s a police officer with some secrets.
As for when Bennett will make his debut, you can catch him as Joe starting May 18.
It won’t be long until Bennett’s first airdate arrives, so fans are wondering how he might shake things up.
It’s worth mentioning that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) once mentioned having multiple police informants at the PCPD.
We know Cassius Faison is pretending to be Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), but he’s also a mole who has to report back to Sidwell.
However, Sidwell apparently has more than one cop in his corner based on his use of the word “informants.”
Since Sidwell was clear about using the plural form of that word, that could mean we’re about to meet someone else on his payroll.
Could Joe be a corrupt cop who’s feeding Sidwell inside information?
GH spoilers say things aren’t quite what they seem when it comes to Jonathan Bennett’s Joe Fitzpatrick, so it’ll be interesting to see if he indeed leaks police-related news to Sidwell.
Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean Joe is a bad guy!
It’s possible Joe is being blackmailed into doing Sidwell’s dirty work or that he’s in some dire financial situation and simply can’t turn down the money.
Whatever the case, Sidwell is a hard man to say no to. Joe may have gotten in over his head like Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) and realized it too late.
No matter how it all plays out, Joe will first pop in the May 18 episode.
That gives viewers something to look forward to as Sidwell continues to make waves in Port Charles.
