The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could use some drama that doesn’t involve Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) or any other dangerous family members.
It’d be nice for Steffy and Finn to get a new storyline of their own at some point.
Finn and Steffy have been weighing in on all Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) affair chaos, but they deserve more than that.
Unfortunately, B&B never gives Finn much to do other than canoodle with Steffy and listen to her Sheila rants.
However, we can think of a good way to introduce a new character and give Finn some fresh material to work with.
Finn and Steffy’s marriage is solid, but soap couples are always going to face obstacles.
Perhaps the next hurdle for Steffy and Finn could involve a love interest from his past.
It’d be easy for the writers to bring on one of Finn’s ex-girlfriends and have her shake things up.
Maybe Finn had a former flame in medical school who could reenter the picture as a doctor who transfers to the same hospital.
This doctor could even be a specialist who bonds with Finn over a particular case.
We could certainly imagine Finn reconnecting with his ex a bit as a result, which could raise suspicions and concerns for Steffy.
Of course, that doesn’t mean B&B has to go with a cheating storyline.
It’s kind of refreshing for Finn to be so devoted to Steffy, but we could still imagine a former flame who stirs the pot if she wants Finn back.
Finn could potentially resist temptation in the end and leave this woman on the hunt for another love interest on canvas.
Then again, the show could decide to dirty Finn up a little after all and let him have a moment of weakness.
Regardless, Finn isn’t doing much of anything these days, so this would be a great time to introduce an ex-girlfriend and create some drama.
This would affect Steffy too and could deliver a new story direction for the duo.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn and Steffy will remain caught up in other characters’ issues, but let’s hope for news about story of their own as well.
