The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one CBS soap alum recently ran into some trouble with the law.
Brenda Dickson, who was the original actress to play Jill Foster Abbott, wound up at the center of a new investigation after the Los Angeles Police Department was called to the scene.
According to TMZ and the info they obtained from the LA County Sheriff’s Office, Dickson found herself under arrest and was booked for misdemeanor battery on a person.
This arrest and booking drama went down on July 9, which is also when Dickson was granted her release on her own recognizance.
Although no details are known about the alleged victim or what caused the conflict, sources indicate that Dickson was placed under arrest after someone reported an assault to the cops and called them down to a specific spot in Hollywood.
As for Brenda Dickson’s past on Y&R, she made her debut in the role of Jill back in 1973.
Dickson was in a total of 226 episodes, so she had a lengthy run as Jill before her last appearance in 1987.
There were a few other actresses who played Jill along the way, but Jess Walton officially took over the part in 1987 as well.
Of course, the role of Jill was most recently portrayed by Lauren Koslow (who also plays Kate Roberts Brady on Days of Our Lives).
Although the show’s confirmed the door is open for Walton to return when her schedule allows, we’ll just have to see how it goes when it comes to Jill’s future.
Since Brenda Dickson has landed in the news over this alleged battery situation, her name is obviously grabbing the most attention on social media at the moment.
Dickson also appeared in Falcon Crest, Taxi Driver, The F.B.I. and more, but her role on Y&R was her last official credit on her IMDb page.
As for what’s next in Genoa City, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will continue his efforts to get to the bottom of whatever secret Jill might’ve buried at Chancellor.
