The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 3-7 reveal that fans will see some payback cravings along with some complex matters of the heart.
There’ll also be some drastic moves that could lead to serious trouble, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will focus on their new beginning as a couple.
Could Nikki and Victor ultimately renew their vows, or will they just concentrate on being happy in each other’s arms?
Of course, Nikki will still have to worry about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and his time in rehab, but she’ll just have to trust that he’s right where he needs to be.
As for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), he seems poised to face Victor’s wrath following his ankle monitor removal.
Victor could go after Matt for revenge along with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for helping him, so they could both be at risk along with Arabesque.
Phyllis and Matt’s sparks will continue to fly in the midst of all this, so they’re gearing up for a messy romance.
Speaking of messy romances, Abby Winters’ (Melissa Ordway) marriage will remain in turmoil.
As Devon Winters (Bryton James) repeatedly pushes her away, it may give Abby more and more excuses to turn to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) for comfort.
Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) bond will grow stronger, so they’ll keep inching out of the friend zone bit by bit.
Kyle and Victoria are headed for some temptation sooner or later, so Y&R will keep laying the groundwork for that.
Next, Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) fixation on Jill Abbott’s (Lauren Koslow) secret inside Chancellor is going to end in disaster.
The harder Billy pushes to uncover that secret, the more concerned Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are going to get.
Billy’s obsession is sure to leave Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) uneasy as well, especially since it’ll take his attention off the baby and their upcoming wedding plans.
Although Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will continue to worry about Nick and his rehab situation, some good news is brewing.
All arrows are pointing toward Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) release from her psychiatric facility in the near future, so this will be a positive thing in Sharon’s life.
Over with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), she’ll remain determined to find the summer home where Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) previously visited.
Can Diane, Kyle Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) track down that house without Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) giving them the exact address?
Traci is willing to visit Martin in person if she has to, but she’d rather avoid it since he rattles her so much.
Diane is hoping they can uncover Dr. Markham’s hideout without Martin’s additional intel, so stay tuned to see if the doc will get cornered soon enough.
