The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the show may have plans for yet another wedding down the road.
One romantic duo could be headed for the altar depending on where their story goes from here.
Y&R fans know that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) recently renewed their vows, so that basically served as a do-over marriage ceremony.
Of course, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are also planning a wedding, which will air this fall if they can manage to stay together until then!
Billy and Sally seem to feud constantly, but they’ve got a baby on the way to motivate them to work things out.
Sally and Billy want to be a united family with this little one, so they may actually last long enough to tie the knot.
There just might be some other wedding news on the horizon based on some hints that have been dropping.
Y&R’s August 6 episode brought Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) discussion about the topic of marriage, so could their nuptials be next in line?
Claire wasn’t ready to marry Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) when he asked, but that was partly because of issues in their relationship and partly because she hadn’t explored enough as an individual.
Claire’s romance with Holden has given her a chance to experience another type of relationship and have some fun in the process.
However, Claire may eventually decide she’s ready to settle down with Holden if he comes to believe she’s “the one.”
Holden was a bit of a player in the past, but he feels like that’s because he just never found the right person to get serious with.
In reality, Holden actually thinks highly of marriage and believes it should be a one-time thing that’s meant to last.
The show could build to Holden eventually proposing to Claire and hoping she’ll agree to be his wife.
Holden may start to imagine a forever future with Claire by his side and hope she’ll say yes to an engagement ring.
Naturally, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Claire and Holden’s wedding will actually happen.
It could get called off if Holden and Claire face problems, but they’re definitely getting some wedding clues in their dialogue for now.
Even if Claire and Holden do lock in a marriage, it may not last as long as Holden might’ve hoped!
Soap unions are rarely permanent, so that’s worth keeping in mind.
That said, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Claire and Holden will continue down this romantic path, so we’ll see just how far they’re able to go.
