The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 10-14 reveal that a mystery woman will hit Genoa City while some shockers play out and things get complicated in the love department.
The week will begin with some excitement since Jade Harlow will appear as a new character named Marie Kirkland starting August 10.
Although the show’s keeping a lid on Marie’s story details, we know she’ll be craving a new beginning when she kicks off her stint.
Marie will be a bit on the mysterious side at first, but surprising news from her past should be revealed in time.
It’s possible Marie will be a new love interest for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), especially since he’s looking for a fresh start of his own.
Nick’s desire to wipe the slate clean in his life and move on from his drug addiction could easily overlap with Marie’s journey.
If that leads to some flying sparks, some jealousy could erupt for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Next, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will continue to obsess over whatever shocker Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) might be hiding deep within Chancellor.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may wish they’d never let Billy get involved once this fixation spirals out of control in the coming episodes.
This will inevitably lead to Billy thinking he should be in charge, so trouble is headed Lily and Cane’s way.
On a happier note, Cane and Lily will find time to squeeze in more sizzling moments together.
Lily and Cane should hit the sheets again soon, but there hopefully won’t be any interruptions this time around.
Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) may also cross paths with newly released Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) soon, but Devon may stay calm since he’s admitted Mariah isn’t really triggering his emotions anymore.
There are deeper issues in play for Devon, so Abby may once again push him to open up.
It looks like Devon may finally try confiding in Abby a bit more, so that could be a positive step forward for their marriage.
As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), they may head off on their Venice trip and trust Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to keep things running smoothly at Newman Enterprises.
However, Victoria could get distracted as her bond with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) grows stronger.
Kyle and Victoria have a turning point coming up, so that’ll pave the way for an almost smooch in the very near future.
Other Y&R spoilers say Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will strengthen his connection with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and perhaps find a new one with Mariah, too.
Mariah may admit she sees a transformed person like her once they spend some time together.
That said, Mariah won’t be willing to totally overlook the horrible things Matt’s done in the past, especially to Sharon.
You can bet Sharon will be right there to remind Mariah that no one can know for certain whether Matt’s genuinely changed.
Over with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), he’ll have a surprise song in store for Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell).
It’s sure to touch Christine’s heart and give her a reason to express gratitude for her talented hubby.
