The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 24-28 reveal that some heated confrontations are coming up along with some twisted partnerships and major shockers in Genoa City.
For starters, all the Chancellor chaos may lead to more trouble and leave Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) furious.
Jack doesn’t want John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) name dragged through the mud, but that may happen anyway and send him flying into a rage.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will try to get Jack on their side, but their willingness to play dirty may force them to look elsewhere for allies.
It doesn’t get much dirtier than partnering with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so could Cane and Lily turn to him for help in their desperation?
Victor will already be targeting Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) anyway, so he may be willing to help Cane and Lily defeat the threat.
Of course, Billy is counting on officially taking the Chancellor throne in the week ahead, but will his plan pay off?
Will Cane really end up sitting in the CEO chair again or will some legal setbacks stand in his way?
As for Jack, he may get pulled back into more Newman-Abbott conflict and find himself tempted to revisit his revenge goals.
If Victor plays a role in smearing John’s name in all this unpaid loan drama, that could lead to Jack fighting back whether Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) likes it or not.
Over with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), Y&R spoilers suggest he may have to pick a side just like Billy warned him.
Holden will presumably choose Lily’s team, but it’s possible he’ll pretend he’s in Billy’s corner for a while.
It all depends on whether Lily might need someone to help with some spy games and sneak attacks!
Next, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) might strategize about how to handle the hostility that’s reigniting between their families.
There’ll surely be some reason for Kyle to grow closer to Victoria and maybe even share a kiss they’ve been tempted to have.
Although Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will remain fixated on redemption, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may argue that it’s overrated.
Phyllis is used to not being accepted around Genoa City and may think Matt just needs to get used to it, too.
Finally, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will move forward with his orthopaedic surgeon consultation and may get approval on the procedure to fix his hand.
From there, Nate will just have to hope the surgery is a success and that he can get his medical career back on track.
