The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of April 20-24 reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will get pulled into Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) setup while Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) power trip could face a major snag.
Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) asking how Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) knows Olivia Hastings, so she’ll be delighted when he reveals that’s his mother.
While Stephanie realizes who she’s talking to, Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will sit Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) down and confess she’s got a big surprise for him.
Next, Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) strange mood will leave Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) convinced that something’s wrong.
“All right, there’s no good way to come out with this, so I’m just going to say it. Summers Conglomerate is going down,” Michael says to Lauren in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
It sounds like Michael will have some intel related to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) attempt to regain control of Newman Enterprises.
Lauren may grow concerned about her new job and worry about what Phyllis will do if her stolen empire gets yanked away from her.
Thanks to Matt’s text trickery, Sharon and Noah will believe they’re arriving in Vegas to watch Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) take down their enemy.
However, Matt will actually be luring Noah and Sharon into his twisted trap.
The weekly promo shows Sharon and Noah in a car after they pull up at a rundown building.
Noah will admit this definitely isn’t what she was expecting before adding that this place looks like it’s been abandoned for years.
After Sharon asks Noah whether they should go inside or leave, they’ll presumably choose to head in since that’s the soapiest move here.
Matt may soon have Noah and Sharon right where he wants them after they make the wrong decision!
Of course, Nick, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will remain caught up in this Vegas storyline as well.
Matt will wreak more havoc, so stay tuned for all the disturbing news to come.
