The Young and the Restless Week of June 29 Preview: Diane Flirts with Dr. Markham – Kyle Panics Over Missing Jack

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of June 29-July 3 reveals that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will take a new approach with Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) grows concerned over Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) disappearance.

Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Kyle cornering Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) to ask whether she’s seen or heard from Jack today.

When Traci confirms that she hasn’t, Kyle admits to thinking Jack might be in real trouble.

That’s when Kyle will presumably explain his latest scheme with Jack and how he was supposed to distract Dr. Markham while his dad broke in the doc’s place.

Since Jack will suddenly vanish, Kyle may assume Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) caught on and did something to him.

Patty will indeed know about this plot due to eavesdropping, so it sounds like she might take Jack hostage and try to move their romance along in private.

At Dr. Markham’s house, Diane will question Dr. Markham about the psychological term for when you’re developing an attachment to your therapist.

Dr. Markham will confirm it’s quite common and suggest it can be a positive part of the process.

Diane will get flirty and insist she’s really looking forward to their next session then, so it’s obvious she’ll be trying to get closer to Dr. Markham using this new strategy.

At the hospital, Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) loved ones will await news on her procedure’s outcome.

After Nikki loses her sight waiting for her surgeon in the June 26 episode, the procedure will move forward during the week of June 29-July 3.

Once it’s all over, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will let Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) know that Nikki’s out of surgery, but she’ll confess that it’s too soon to tell how it went.
