The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that one CBS soap star has some exciting news to celebrate. B&B fans know Tanner Novlan best as John “Finn” Finnegan, but he’s trading his doctor scrubs for a cowboy hat in his newest project.
Novlan will be playing reality TV star Kristin Cavallari’s leading man in a fun flick called Cowboy Hearts, which is set to premiere on Roku next year.
Here’s what Novlan had to say about the film on Instagram, where he also dropped some behind-the-scenes pics and a video of himself on a horse.
“Cowboy Hearts coming to @therokuchannel early ‘27!” Novlan said before adding a smiley emoji with a cowboy hat along with a heart emoji.
As for the premise of the movie, Cavallari plays a reality TV producer who supervises the reboot of a dating show before unexpectedly falling for the cowboy at the center of it all.
Cowboy Hearts’ IMDb page confirms that Tanner Novlan’s character is named Chris while Kristin Cavallari is playing Ari.
It also offers confirmation on the movie being in post-production, which makes sense considering the early ’27 timeline that Novlan offered.
Of course, that means there’s no need to worry about Finn missing time on the CBS soap since Novlan’s apparently already completed filming.
Novlan sometimes squeezes in side projects, including his popular “Liberty Biberty” commercials.
No matter what other gigs Tanner Novlan might accept, it’s safe to say his B&B future is secure for now.
Finn will obviously have to remain part of the surrogacy deception story that’s just kicking off.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will continue to dupe Finn about her big mistake with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) while going through the surrogacy steps for Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) to be a mom.
Carter just delivered this egg donor and surrogate proposal on-screen, but Steffy’s going to agree to all this and try to keep the truth quiet.
Fans will be eager to see the fallout of Steffy and Carter’s lies, but this storyline will obviously take some time to fully play out!
