THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS returns to Bravo tonight for a whole new episode called, “Luaus And Lies” On tonight’s show Brandi and Carlton pole-dance, while Kim throws a going away luau for her daughter. Did you watch last week’s episode? We did and we recapped it right here for you.
On last week’s show following the tense and unpleasant dinner at SUR, Yolanda chided Brandi for her behavior toward Joyce. Joyce and Brandi had to share the catwalk at Kyle’s fashion show, and Kyle hoped for the best as she raises money for charity and visits with her co-star from Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis.
On tonight’s show Kim throws a luau for her daughter Kimberly who will be leaving for college at the end of the summer. Carlton, who was “over-served” before attending a pole dancing class with Brandi, arrives tipsy, while Brandi shows up nauseous. Later, Joyce and Brandi attempt to discuss their problems in a civil manner – with mixed results.

Kim’s daughter, Kimberley, is graduating soon and before she does her mother wanted to treat her to a spa day. Kyle and her daughter joined the duo and they were all able to find a reason to laugh especially the so called adults. When Kim and Kyle are together their able to laugh over the silliest things. This time it’s about waxing a certain area. They don’t use the general accepted word because it makes them uncomfortable so instead Kyle calls it her tweeter and Kim refers to as her wiener. The ladies both needed to have that area done prior to wearing bathing suits later for Kimberley’s luau. That poor waxer. Her job was extra difficult that day seeing as her clients couldn’t stop laughing.
Then there’s Brandi. Brandi and Carlton have become firm friends recently and had planned an outing earlier the day of the party. They were going to take pole dancing lessons from an instructor. Although Brandi wasn’t expecting for Carlton to show up hung over, they still were able to have fun. Both of them planned on going to the graduation luau, but they became nauseous after their pole dancing class. They showed up at Kim’s and immediately noticed a burger car outside. They grabbed a burger and ended up getting caught eating on Kim’s porch. They explained to Kyle, who caught them, that they didn’t want to enter the party being that sick. They were hoping a burger would calm their stomach while Kyle just thought they were being a bit rude.
She found even more reason for complaint after she noticed that Carlton was hung-over. Carlton entered the party and all she really wanted was a drink. Which is hard to find at a party for an underage kid with a recovering alcoholic mother. Joyce thinks Carlton is offensive and so does Kyle. Then the as a final nail in the coffin; Brandi got sick at the party. She was inside the bathroom just upchucking away. She and Carlton eventually had to leave the party early.
Luckily, the rest of the night managed to pass without incident and Kimberley got to enjoy her luau with the rest of her family and friends.
Lisa is asking all of her friends to donate unused dresses in their closets. She planned on donating the clothes to foster kids who are unable to purchase their own prom dresses. She invited both Joyce and Brandi to come and help. Brandi was warned Joyce would be there and she promised Lisa that they weren’t going to be any drama. Brandi said she realized that she needed to talk with Joyce and didn’t want to ruin Lisa’s lunch.
Later at the lunch, Lisa realized she would have been more worried about Kim than Brandi. Kim had invited Lisa and her husband to Kimberely’s party, but they didn’t come. No excuses were made and weirdly enough, Kim’s hairdresser spotted the couple eating at a restaurant. Lisa denies being back in the hills in spite of what a hairdresser saw. She claimed she was in Missouri until suddenly, when Kim didn’t let it go, she remembered she did arrive home the night of the party. She had time to go and unfortunately just didn’t remember the party was that night.
Kim doesn’t believe her and she let that doubt showed much to Ken’s displeasure. He in turn tried to defend his wife by saying there’s been plenty of time where Kim couldn’t make it to an event. It was wrong thing to say and from the wrong person. Kim took his statement to mean that he was bringing up the times back when she was drunk. She was offended and Ken didn’t want to apologize. He ready to leave the ladies to the lunch when his wife talked him into staying by telling she needed his help packing up the dresses.
Ken stayed at one party of the lawn and Kim at the other. The rest of the lunch should have been peaceful when Brandi arrived. She asked for a moment alone with Joyce in order to talk thing through. When it her to talk, she told Joyce not to interrupt. However she did not afford the same courtesy to Joyce when it was the other woman’s turn to speak. Joyce had joined an anti-bullying group and it only reaffirmed to her that Brandi was a bully. Therein lies the problem – Brandi doesn’t like to be labeled by others. Sure, she’ll admit she’s a bitch but don’t call her a racist or a bully.
In the end they agree they didn’t like each other and leave it at that. Lisa didn’t want to intervene and yet she did. She told Brandi that all the fighting should end here. This allowed Brandi to face some of her mistakes and bug enough to apologize for Palm Springs. Joyce accepted the apology and said she was sorry for labeling Brandi.
Is this is finally going to equal peace or will they be back at it next week?
