“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for February sweeps tease a bumpy road ahead for Genoa City schemers as new alliances form, old rivalries heat up and dirty secrets are exposed. Here’s what to expect in coming sweeps weeks including a possible murder.
Dr Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) doesn’t know it yet, but her scheme is closing in from all sides and she will soon be in grave danger. Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) has the inside track at Fairview while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is working hard with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Crazy Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) seems to have something to tell Nick and Sage but Nick doesn’t want Patty near Sage. But Sage is intrigued by the woman and they sneak around Fairview to stay away from Dr A’s watchful eyes but Sage can’t get clarity from Patty.
Meanwhile, Sharon and Nick realize that Dr Anderson is Sandra Allen from high school based on hints she’s dropped plus the paralysis book and then it all starts clicking together. They will try to go rescue Sage from Fairview but bad things are happening.
Patty seems drugged to the gills, Sage checks on her to try and get more info, but Patty is too out of it. At the same time, Nick and Sharon discover a grievously wounded or dead Dr A on the floor of her office and it looks like she’s been stabbed.
Dr Anderson’s secrets are coming out, but now there are more questions than answers. Y&R spoilers indicate that Sharon will have another breakdown – likely over realizing Sully is not her biological son and she’s going to lose him – plus all this mess with her shrink.
But there’s also a mystery for Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) to investigate. Who stabbed Dr Anderson? Sage? Patty? Other players in the mix we don’t know about? Wil Dr A live or die? There is so much more to this storyline that will unfold over sweeps.
Also, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is focused on two Newmans – Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and namesake Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Billy tries to cement his revived relationship with Victoria, but may ruin it by spying on Victoria as part of his Victor revenge scheme.
Billy is tempted to rifle her laptop for info on the Natalie (Mara McCaffray) project. Billy will also be back at Jabot which is perfect since he and Phyllis Newman (Gina Tognoni) are co-scheming. But Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will soon find out what they’re up to.
Will Jack help them out or shut them down? Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) may soon figure out that Billy and Natalie are in cahoots and can use this to his advantage to benefit him and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) gets her memories back of love for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) but this also means she’s back to her scheming ways and, surprisingly, her other ex Neil Winters (Kristoff St John) may be the first target she takes down.
Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) new marriage with Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) continues to struggle. Stitch is busy at the hospital leaving Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze) with Abby whom Max continues to hate.
Things get worse when Ashley Newman (Eileen Davidson) steps in to help. Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) will give up on confessing to running over Billy for now, but Billy is getting his memory back and may soon leverage Noah.
This is interesting because Noah is also scheming with Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) to take down Victor. Noah is still holding a grudge over what Victor did to Marisa Sierras (Sofia Pernas). Strange that Marisa’s lovers are united in their hatred of Victor.
Adam tries to protect Noah unaware that he’s working with Luca. Victor is soon back in town and lambasts Adam for blowing the deal with Luca. Adam blames Victor and they have it out. Victor will need Adam as the wolves circle but will he see this in time?
So much happening in February – don’t miss a moment of Y&R sweeps action and be sure to come back to CDL often for day-ahead “The Young and The Restless” spoilers plus news and updates.
