The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, February 1, tease that Thomas (Pierson Fode) will explode when he gets updates on Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) new title. Eric (John McCook) is making Ridge and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) co-CEOs, but Thomas certainly won’t approve of this move. He won’t understand why he continues to robbed of a shot at leadership.
Ridge will point out that it’s nothing personal. He’ll think Thomas’ day will come, but right now they have to focus on what’s best for Forrester Creations. Steffy needs someone with experience and wisdom to balance out her youthful energy. Letting Thomas take on this role just wouldn’t have made much sense.
Ridge will note that Steffy is on board with this because it’s a mature decision. Thomas will scoff at that statement. B&B’s preview video shows Thomas declaring, “I’ll tell you what’s a mature decision. Quinn (Rena Sofer) making Steffy CEO as a matchmaking ploy…THAT’S a mature decision!”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge won’t appreciate Thomas’ sarcasm. He’ll think his son needs to suck it up and be a team player. Of course, Thomas will have a completely different plan. He’ll insist that it’s time to start looking out for his own future.
Meanwhile, Steffy will worry about her brother. She’ll fill Liam (Scott Clifton) in on the situation and they’ll debate how Thomas is going to handle it. Obviously, things are already heading downhill. Steffy will get why Thomas is feeling snubbed. He was passed over for CEO when Steffy took over and now he’s been passed over for the co-CEO position as well.
Liam will offer reassurance and Steffy will hope that everything will settle down. She’s ready for some peace within her family. Since Ridge and Quinn are on the same page now, Steffy thought it was finally happening. Now Thomas’ rage is stirring up additional strife.
When Liam finds out Quinn suggested Ridge as co-CEO, he’ll wonder what she’s up to. Steffy might think that Quinn genuinely wants to ease the tension, but Liam will know better than that. He’ll believe Quinn must have some sort of ulterior motive. Quinn rarely does anything based on kindness alone.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Thomas could cause more problems than Quinn and Ridge bargained for. We’ll keep you posted as other news comes in.
