The Young and the Restless Spoilers: The Moustache Destroys Chick With Christian Paternity Reveal

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) aren’t ready for what Victor (Eric Braeden) is about to do to their lives and relationship. The head of the Newman clan is bent on destroying his son and may also decide to sabotage Chick.

For now, Victor appears to simply be targeting Nick’s business. Noah (Robert Adamson) wants to believe that his grandfather helped The Underground obtain a liquor license for its soon-to-open Michigan location as a goodwill gesture. No, it’s a ploy Victor used to place his tentacles into Nick’s expansion plans.

Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) relationship with Victor seems to be temporarily damaged. Victor places blame for this development on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), while also believing that Nick wants him out of his granddaughter’s life. Nick has told him that’s not true, but Victor’s stubborn nature won’t allow the light of truth to shine on his brain.

The Moustache had already taken steps to undermine Nick’s business efforts. In recent months he also cut off Nick’s access to the Newman good life, which was understandable based upon his son’s hostile behavior.

Victor has a soft spot for Faith because she allows him to relive the good old days. While the 1980’s (in soap time) weren’t perfect, Victor has somewhat romanticized his child-rearing years where Nick and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are concerned.

At the same time, Victor seems to use his grandchildren as second chance pieces on the board. Yes, that was a cheeky reference to the game of kings (chess) that Victor taught Faith to play.

A fierce personal reprisal is in the works because Victor believes that Nick wants to cut him off from his grandchildren, meaning Faith, Noah and Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). That means Chelsea’s future with Nick could easily be jeopardized as well.

She and Victor know that Christian isn’t Nick’s biological son. Chelsea may have made a tactical mistake by recently telling Victor, in front of Nick, that she won’t allow Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) to be influenced by his manipulation.

Victor could opt to protect Chelsea even if he tells Nick that Adam (Justin Hartley) is Christian’s biological father. The Moustache doesn’t have to also inform Nick that Chelsea has known that information for more than a year and that they have discussed the situation with each other on various occasions.

Then again, depending upon his mood and vengeance level, Victor could expose Chelsea. Doing so would likely cause Chick to implode. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless. Check back regularly for Y&R spoilers and news!
