Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) advice for Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) proved to be rather troubling – especially considering the suspicions that have been building about Charlie.
DOOL fans know Charlie came on the scene right as Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) was accused of rape. Since it’s pretty obvious Tripp is innocent, there has to be another culprit.
It seems likely that culprit will be someone Days viewers already know – and we now know Charlie. There’s a good chance Charlie is Tripp’s fraternal twin or brother since Tripp shares DNA with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).
With all that in mind, let’s consider some similarities between Xander’s part in this story and something that went down in 2016.
Chase Jennings (Jonathon McClendon) was feeling down on himself for blowing it with Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni at the time), but Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) insisted Chase still had a shot.
Andre argued that Chase just had to be a strong man since that’s what women want. He suggested Ciara just wanted to know Chase would fight for her and do anything to be with her.
Of course, we all know how that story turned out. Chase raped Ciara, so that makes Xander’s talk about how a “real man takes charge” awfully concerning. Xander certainly wouldn’t want Charlie to misconstrue his guidance about being assertive, but Charlie could still do that at some point.
It seems like Charlie tends to bungle things with girls, so perhaps that’s led to him taking what he wanted by force in some cases – like with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) in London.
On some level, Charlie may know what he did was wrong. That’d explain why he’s trying not to be pushy – and why he’s not judging Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) for her complicated past.
Maybe Charlie’s doing his best to move beyond his horrible history, but Xander’s giving him advice that could inadvertently lead him down a dark road again.
Naturally, Days of Our Lives spoilers say this storyline will take some time to play out. There’ll be plenty more opportunities for Xander to accidentally bring out the worst in Charlie.
Xander agreed to help Charlie because he wants all the glory with “Pop-Pop” aka Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), who adores Claire and wants to see her happy.
That seemed like a huge hint that Xander will get blamed when it all goes south! If Charlie is guilty, will he try to make Claire his next victim? We’ll keep bringing you updates as other Days news rolls in.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie’s dark side could rear its ugly head sooner or later, so stay tuned to DOOL. CDL’s your go-to source for fantastic Days of Our Lives spoilers, news and updates, so drop by frequently.
