The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of December 14-18 teases that we’ll see some suspicions and shockers in Genoa City. First, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will put Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) advice to good use.
Sally insisted she would’ve figured out Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) weak spot anyway, but she did throw Theo a bone of gratitude when she refused to spy any longer. Now Sally is on her own, but she expects she’ll do just fine against her newest rival.
Sally will quickly come up with a way to get under Summer’s skin when it comes to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) – and she’ll hope she can use Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as part of her plan.
In the Jabot boardroom, Sally will want to pick Jack’s brain about Kyle – apparently as part of some feature she’s cooked up.
Sally might pitch an idea to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) about doing a success story. She might even suggest highlighting Kyle and Summer as the ultimate powercouple.
Sally could make this sound like something that could generate big publicity and be a win-win for both Jabot and Fenmore’s.
Naturally, Sally’s real goal will be to stir the pot and eventually get closer to Kyle. Grilling Jack about Kyle’s background would be a nice start. “My main interest is Kyle’s career,” Sally says in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
“You know, how he worked his way up…what qualities you saw in him that allowed him to get so far at such a young age. Besides being your son, of course.”
Jack doesn’t look pleased in the promo, so he may see right through Sally’s strategy. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will deliver a warning to Sally in the week ahead.
Jack might sense that Sally could make trouble for Summer and Kyle, who only recently got back together.
Sally will get some cautionary words of wisdom, so Jack may think she should focus on helping Lauren and keep out of “Skyle’s” way. As for Theo, he’ll warn Summer about sneaky Sally and her intentions.
Whether Theo genuinely wants to give Summer the upper hand or just mess with her head, he’ll make it clear that Sally is someone to watch out for – especially when it comes to Kyle.
“You need to steer clear of Sally,” Summer declares to Kyle in Y&R’s promo. “She wants my job, and she’s gonna try to use you to get what she wants.” Kyle looks a bit uneasy in the clip, so he may worry Summer’s jealous nature is about to cause more problems.
Although Kyle will argue that he can’t be used as a pawn, Summer’s concerns about Sally will remain.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have some stunning news for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). When Billy asks if Lily saw the witness, Lily will insist she sure did. “Who the hell is this person?” Billy asks in the preview video. “You’re never gonna believe it,” Lily replies.
Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) is the one who can place Billy at the scene of the crime – and she’ll also be the reason Billy gets arrested again next week!
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will take Billy into custody after he tries to harass Alyssa in her hotel suite, so some serious drama’s brewing. We’ll offer updates as other Y&R details emerge.
