General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, May 25, tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will face a tricky setback while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets slammed in court. Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will also vow to help Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At the gallery, Rory will pay Trina a visit and see how she’s holding up.
GH spoilers say Rory will talk about his desire to right some wrongs – and the first one will involve what’s happening to Trina.
After Rory shows faith in Trina’s innocence and vows to help her, the connection between them will grow even stronger.
Of course, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is also trying to play the hero for Trina, but he’d better hurry up before he loses to the competition!
At Wyndemere, Spencer will surprise Esme by insisting they have to spend the afternoon packing.
Esme will get updates on Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) willingness to loosen the purse strings on Spencer’s trust fund.
As part of that plan, Spencer will mention that Ava’s offering $10,000 per week if he’ll move out of the house permanently with Esme.
That’ll bring a bit of a setback for Esme, who needs to stay at Wyndemere and continue her seduction efforts.
Esme’s main goal now is pulling Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) closer and ultimately luring him to her bed.
That task is pretty much impossible unless Esme remains under the same roof, so she may offer excuses to stay and face a grilling session from Spencer.
Speaking of grilling sessions, Nikolas will put Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) through one next.
Perhaps Britt will spill something about Spencer stopping by to see her and hint that he’s playing with fire.
Britt was troubled over Spencer’s pill discovery and got him to admit it belonged to Esme, but we’ll see how much she admits to Nikolas.
It could be that Britt offers an altered version of events, but Nikolas will indeed pump the doc for info and pry at least something out of her.
Outside Kelly’s, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will comfort Cameron Webber (William Lipton) over Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) Shadybrook stint and distract him with a plan to take Esme down.
Joss will tell Cam about a way to stop Esme’s reign of terror, but they’ll be interrupted soon enough.
It’s possible Esme will come along to derail the discussion since she’s always popping up out of nowhere.
However, we also know Josslyn will take over Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) babysitting duty in the coming episodes, so this interruption could tie in with that.
Either way, Joss will have to cut her conversation with Cameron short.
As for Spencer, he’ll make his way to the gallery and witness Trina’s close moment with Rory.
That’ll leave Spencer jealous and determined to speed Esme’s takedown along.
At the Metro Court bar, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will approach Ava and tease her about not offering a welcome home for her favorite in-law.
Ava will have a flirty exchange with Victor, so they’ll both try to charm their way into building a trustworthy relationship.
Naturally, Ava will still be looking for hints about Victor’s agenda and all the dangerous secrets he’s keeping, but she may also find that she legitimately enjoys Victor’s company.
In the courtroom, Sonny will offer some heartfelt words as he speaks for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on the stand.
Once Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) gets her chance to question Sonny, she’ll wonder why they should trust his judgment when it comes to Nina.
Diane may point out that Sonny’s opinion of Nina was built on lies in Nixon Falls.
Sonny will have a rosy view of Nina as far as Diane’s concerned, so she won’t think he’s willing to see her as a threat.
Diane will do whatever she can to discredit Sonny’s testimony and undo the progress he makes with the judge, so more tension is on the way.
