The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of October 17-21 teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a new job for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) while Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) demands answers from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
For starters, Y&R spoilers say Summer will come barging in Newman Media and push for honesty.
Since Summer will find out about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) spending time with Sally outside the office, she’ll want to know what’s going on between Sally and her dad.
Sally might try to act like it’s none of Summer’s business, but Summer won’t let her get away with that.
Since this involves someone Summer cares about, she may insist she’s making it her business and urge Sally to just tell the truth.
Sally might confess to being romantically involved with Nick – though they’re living in the moment and seeing where this might lead.
Then again, Sally might argue that Summer would be better off having this conversation with Nick instead.
Regardless, Summer will end up delivering a stern warning before she goes.
Sally is still on the rebound following her Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) split, so Summer may urge her to be careful with Nick’s heart or else they’ll have a problem.
Speaking of problems, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) have faced plenty in their adoption efforts.
Fortunately, Tessa and Mariah’s luck is about to turn around.
Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will help Mariah and Tessa on their quest to become adoptive parents, so they’ll be thrilled when she brings them good news.
It sounds like Tessa and Mariah will be a step closer to becoming doting moms.
In the meantime, Nate will give Victoria updates on how he blew up their takeover plot at Chancellor-Winters.
It’ll be something Nate regrets since he derailed his career and still won’t be able to make things work with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Although Victoria should be disappointed initially, she’ll decide Nate deserves a real chance to prove himself.
Nate will essentially be rewarded for all his bad behavior since Victoria will vow to find a suitable position for him at Newman Enterprises.
Victoria will smile as she insists Chancellor-Winters’ loss is Newman’s gain.
However, Nate should probably be careful what he wishes for since the Newmans are drama magnets and could drag him into more trouble than he bargained for!
