Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate a pre-emption alert is in order, as the week of June 30-July 4 will be reruns.
The new CBS soap will rebroadcast the episodes that premiered the first week the show aired.
As such, BTG viewers will have to wait five days (and two weekends) before some fresh new episodes are dropped.
The daytime drama released its preview for the week of July 4-11, so from the looks of it, it’ll be worth the wait.
One interesting insight is that Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) and Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will stumble into each other’s orbits.
The promo opens with Leslie and Hayley sitting opposite of each other at the diner when Leslie notes, “So friend, how are we going to help each other?”
Hayley will look on with a grin, so will these two become friends and allies? What kind of scheme will they concoct to get back at the Dupree family? Only time will tell!
Across town, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) are seen during the next clip, at the police station.
Smitty tells his fellow in-law that he’s found a link between Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy).
During the Friday, June 27 episode, fans saw Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) attempt to unalive Kenneth (Jason Vendryes) at Joey Armstrong’s (Jon Lindstrom) casino.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) lured him there, promising he’d get his $100,000 payoff to keep quiet about that traumatic night, two years ago.
While Kenneth may (or may not) officially be out of the picture, this doesn’t mean Martin secret will remain under wraps.
There’s a good chance that Smitty and Jacob are the ones to blow this out in the wide open, so fans will have to tune in to see how it’ll all unfold.
Speaking of Vernon (and Martin), he’s in the next clip of the Beyond the Gates preview for the week of July 7-11.
He’ll be enjoying a meal at the country club with Dani when she asks him if Martin is the reason he’s so bothered. What will he tell her?
Over to Dani’s daughter, Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) is shown at the hospital during the preview.
She’ll be on the phone with Jacob as she frantically tells him that he needs to join her right away, as it’s an emergency.
Who’s at the hospital and could this be Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett)? He recently suffered a stroke, so it’s hard not to think he may have a relapse.
As the promo progresses, the next scene is one with Joey and Randy. The casino owner and his right-handman seem to be having an intense conversation when Doug McBride (Jason Graham) walks in.
Immediately, the surgeon states, “What the heck?” A scene then quickly flashes to Joey grabbing a gun off the table, and then to a clip of Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli).
She’ll be at the bar with Doug by her side when she asks Randy, “Are you afraid of Joey?” to which the man replies, “Terrified”.
Over to Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) and Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad), the two sisters will get into a massive confrontation during the week of July 7-11.
In the BTG promo, Eva tells Kat, that she’s a “… spoiled, selfish little b!tch”, while Kat retorts back, “Is that the best you’ve got?”
It looks like they are in Ted Richardson’s (Keith D. Robinson) office, so perhaps they get into it as Kat trains Eva for the job she once held.
As the Beyond the Gates promo wraps up, a scene is shown of Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) outside the bar, as Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) loops her arm in his.
He tells his date, “Ready to turn some heads?” As the scenes shift, the next clip is of Dani, obviously, upset as she throws her purse down on the bar.
The camera pans to show Andre and Ashley holding hands at a table, as Dani glares at them. They notice her, noticing them.
Andre and Ashley will end up going out on their date, but it may not end the way either had hoped.
Beyond the Gates spoilers remind fans that heck hath no fury like Dani Dupree scorn! Fans witnessed Dani’s meltdown when Bill chose Hayley over her, so what kind of damage is in store for Andre and Ashley in the days and weeks ahead in light of this betrayal?
