General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 8, reveals that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) will scheme against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) fights back after Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) outburst. Ava Jerome (Maura West) will also tackle a romantic mess, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
For starters, let’s talk about Sonny and Sidwell’s continued feud. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) let Sonny go since Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) autopsy results didn’t point to murder, but Sidwell isn’t ready to give up on justice.
As far as Sidwell is concerned, getting tangled up with Sonny led to Natalia’s downfall.
Sidwell will push all the right buttons and enrage Marco even further, so they’ll scheme to make sure Sonny pays.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) will sound the alarm to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) about Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin) going missing from her crib.
Whether this is a kidnapping or a misunderstanding, Michael will vow to get to the bottom of it ASAP.
A mystery character has been lurking around Daisy lately and messing with Sasha’s head, so it’s easy to see why Sasha’s so freaked out!
Next on Tuesday’s GH episode, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) will put Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) through an interrogation and seek updates on any Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) news he can offer.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu explained everything to Rocco, but he’ll want to get Jason’s perspective on the doc who stole his parents’ embryo and gave birth to him.
As for Brook Lynn, she’ll fight back now that Lulu has slapped her over all this Rocco drama.
Brook Lynn will call Lulu out for being a hypocrite and remind her of all the pain she caused when she blew up Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) world.
Over with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), she’ll show Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) how much her way of thinking has evolved.
Kristina may view this whole fire ordeal as a wake-up call and a reminder of how fragile life is.
Since Kristina will reflect on going too far, it sounds like she’ll think back to accidentally sabotaging Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) car when she was targeting Ava.
Now that Kristina has seen the error of her ways, will she be willing to call off Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) seduction of Ava?
Will Cody think Kristina should stick to the plan instead?
Regardless, Cody will take some steps to strengthen his bond with Ava on Tuesday’s show.
After Cody arrives to help Ava prep for the art event that’s coming up, they’ll share some close moments.
There’s a chance lines will start to blur for Cody if he’s developing genuine feelings for Ava.
Things will definitely get complicated since Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will try to send Cupid’s arrow toward Cody and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
Back with Ava, she’ll have quite the romantic mess on her hands.
Between Ric’s recent deception and his fixation on Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Ava will worry maybe he’s not the man for her.
It looks like Ava will open up to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about that and perhaps spill about Cody’s intriguing interest in her, too.
Meanwhile, Ric will derail Elizabeth and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) attempt to have a fun girls’ night.
Since Ric will get flirty, Liz may feel the need to remind him that he’s firmly in the friend zone – at least that’s how she feels right now!
General Hospital spoilers say Elizabeth could have a change of heart eventually, but secrets could get in the way of a real reunion happening.
