The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have to figure out what to do now that his dream has been shattered. Billy was so close to leading Chancellor into the future like he wanted, but some miscommunication and manipulation derailed that plan.
Once Billy, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) rescued Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) from the yacht, they really should’ve called or texted Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to let her know.
Billy tried to blame Phyllis for allowing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to dupe her, but Billy deserves some blame too for not giving her the latest news!
Since Billy left Phyllis in the dark on Jack’s freedom, it’s partly his fault that she struck a deal with Victor unnecessarily.
Regardless, what’s done is done, so now Chancellor Industries is back in Victor’s hands.
It may truly be time for Billy to let Chancellor go, but how exactly will he move on with his life?
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) urged Billy to take a breath before rushing into another project.
In the meantime, Sally thinks Billy should pay Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) a visit and try to make amends with her.
Jill’s heart issues have been flaring up on her in recent months, so Billy understands the importance of reconnecting.
Although Billy didn’t agree to take the trip to London yet, he said he’d think about it and seems to be leaning in the direction of going.
Perhaps this London trip could help Billy more than he realizes.
Billy might have an epiphany during his time away about what career path he’s going to head down.
Billy knows Sally and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) have turned Abbott Communications into Spectra-Charles Media, so he doesn’t want to derail that now.
However, Billy is the kind of Y&R character who gets bored fast and will land in all sorts of trouble if he doesn’t have something to focus on.
While Billy’s in London, Jill might have some ideas on a new challenge for him.
Then again, maybe Billy could visit Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) club there and realize he wants to run a business like that.
Billy might even get involved in Noah and Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) new club in Genoa City or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, Billy could come home following a London epiphany and deliver two surprises to Sally.
Perhaps Billy will reveal that he’s officially patched things up with Jill AND figured out what he wants to do next!
