General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has definitely had her thinking cap on lately.
Liz should really be a detective since she’s solving more criminal mysteries than the PCPD at this point.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had already tried blinking SOS to so many people, but Elizabeth was the one who truly recognized his communication attempt and suggested methods to help him.
Of course, Liz also figured out that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) pulled the trigger on Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Elizabeth solved that mystery before the WSB and the PCPD ever could, which either says a lot about how smart she is or how incompetent they are!
Now the wheels are turning for Liz regarding Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) medical crisis.
Elizabeth finds it odd that Brennan’s story is so close to Drew’s since two seemingly healthy men appeared to have a stroke in the same home a few months apart.
Even if the Rocco shooter drama stays under wraps, nosy Nurse Baldwin could still be a big problem in Sidwell’s eyes.
Sidwell may find out that Elizabeth has been pushing for Drew communication tools and that she’s asking too many questions about Brennan’s similar situation.
Disturbing news could be on the way if Sidwell realizes Liz is too smart for her own good and decides she needs to be taken out of the picture.
The more Elizabeth figures out, the greater the risk she’ll help bring down Sidwell and his operation with Cullum.
Sidwell can’t allow anyone to jeopardize this project, so he might have a shocking new order for Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) soon.
What if Sidwell tasks Cassius with getting rid of Elizabeth permanently?
Now that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is furious with “Nathan” over all the Rocco secrets, it makes sense for GH writers to lean into the tension even more.
It feels like Dante and Elizabeth may be on the verge of a romance, but Cassius could pose a threat if Sidwell orders Liz’s demise.
Dante may have to save Elizabeth’s life if things spiral out of control, so stay tuned to see if a near-death experience is coming up.
