General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) temper tantrum could do some serious damage.
Now that Curtis has socked Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) at the Metro Court Gardens, Isaiah is most likely going to be injured.
Isaiah might’ve been OK if he’d been able to stay upright after that punch, but he slammed into a table instead.
From there, Isaiah wound up on the floor writing in pain and most likely landed on his arm or wrist.
That’s important since Isaiah obviously needs the use of both hands to operate.
Isaiah is a surgeon, so Curtis may have just put Isaiah’s career on the line with his unhinged outburst.
The Young and the Restless did a similar story in recent years since Devon Winters (Bryton James) decked Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), who hurt his hand in the fall and had to give up his surgical career.
GH writers may not take things quite that far with Isaiah, but he could still need some recovery time.
That’s a problem since Isaiah just got through gushing over the amazing surgery that he’s supposed to be part of soon.
Viewers will recall seeing little Derrick, the boy who looked up to Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).
Isaiah clearly feels a strong bond with Derrick since he arranged for him to meet his favorite former college quarterback.
Before Curtis let his fist do the talking, Isaiah opened up to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about Derrick’s surgery feeling different and special somehow.
In the May 15 episode, Isaiah spoke about Derrick having the kindest heart and how he reminded Isaiah of a lot of the kids he saw during his service work in Africa.
Although Derrick’s upcoming surgery is extremely complicated, Isaiah insisted that everything he’d learned up to this point had prepared him for it.
In fact, Isaiah said that in a way, this surgery feels like a culmination of his entire career!
Of course, there must be a reason why Isaiah just got a mountain of dialogue about how special this surgery is and how important Derrick is to him.
Now that Curtis has gone on the attack, he’s presumably going to knock Isaiah out of being able to perform this procedure.
Another surgeon may fill in, but they may not be as skilled as Isaiah and certainly won’t have the same level of passion for this particular case.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Isaiah is going to want revenge, so stay tuned for Curtis’ arrest and any other shocking news that might be looming.
