General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the show’s gearing up for a big bash that could end in catastrophe.
That’s usually the case whenever party plans get underway, so let’s consider the potential drama ahead.
GH fans know that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is gearing up for the launch of her novel, so she’s been getting plenty of support from her loved ones.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is certainly proud of Molly and can’t wait to join her on her book tour.
As for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), they recently revealed their plans to throw Molly a book launch party.
It’s set to play out at the Metro Court pool and will no doubt be quite the celebration.
However, there are plenty of ways this gathering could take a wrong turn.
That’s especially true since Cody made a suggestion that’s probably going to get stuck in Molly’s head and leave her paranoid.
Since Alexis and Ric are getting along better than usual due to all their party planning, Cody wondered about a possible romantic rekindling.
Molly looked downright horrified at the thought of that and will certainly be watching her parents closely from now on.
Of course, Molly has seen first-hand how bad the fighting between Alexis and Ric can get.
The last thing Molly wants is Ric and Alexis doing anything to rock the boat in this new peace they’ve found.
If Alexis and Ric head back into romantic territory, Molly surely believes it’ll end in nasty insults and familiar hostility.
Molly would much rather see Ric stick with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) since she believes Liz is actually good for him.
It’s easy to imagine some comical situations now that Cody’s planted the idea in Molly’s head that Ric and Alexis might be rekindling things.
Molly may misconstrue some suspicious moments and fear Cody’s right as this story moves along.
That might lead to Molly confronting Ric about cheating on Liz with Alexis or something along those lines.
There’ll surely be some way for Molly’s book launch to turn into a total disaster – perhaps one that ends with Ric taking a tumble into the pool!
