The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, August 4, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will blab to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and stir up some trouble while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) faces a surprise farewell.
First on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will show up at Crimson Lights hoping to speak with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) in private.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will take Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) to Society for a drink, so that’ll give them a chance to reconnect a bit before Noah’s imminent departure.
As for Sienna, she’ll thank Sienna for being so accepting of her and apologize if it feels like she’s taking Noah away.
Sienna will admit she offered to return to Los Angeles on her own, but Sharon will know Noah would be heartbroken if he didn’t go with her.
Sharon will assure Sienna that she doesn’t blame her and that she understands the desire to distance herself from Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Sienna will consider the possibility that Matt has truly changed, but Sharon will suggest there’s no way to know for sure.
Since Noah won’t want to do anything to jeopardize Nick’s recovery, he’ll think he should keep his GC exit quiet for now.
Sharon, Mariah and Sienna will all convince Noah that he needs to tell Nick the truth before leaving.
At Nick’s rehab facility, he’ll ask an employee to find his doctor since he’ll be hoping for something to help deal with his cravings.
Noah will eventually show up and fill Nick in on his decision to return to LA with Sienna – though he’ll offer to stick around if that’s what Nick needs.
Nick will respect Noah’s choice and encourage him to go, so they’ll share a father-son hug as they bid farewell.
At the park café, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will interrupt Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) conversation, so Victoria will take off and give them a chance to catch up.
Nikki and Jack will take a moment to celebrate their recoveries before talk turns to her reconciliation with Victor.
Jack won’t be thrilled about that and will seem skeptical about Victor keeping the peace, but he’ll try to accept Nikki’s decision to repair her marriage.
At Society, Victor push Billy’s buttons during a tense encounter.
It won’t be long until Billy gloats about Adam lying and secretly way overpaying Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for Newman Media behind Victor’s back.
Victor will act skeptical in front of Billy and predict that he’s going to botch things at Chancellor, where he accepted Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) scraps.
Afterward, Victor will summon Adam for an emergency meeting at the ranch, where he’ll confront him over the deal Billy blabbed about.
Adam will question why Victor believes Billy and will suggest it doesn’t matter how he got Newman Media back, but Victor will notice he’s not denying the accusation.
Victoria’s arrival will derail this discussion but Victor will make it clear they’re not finished before Adam stomps off.
While Victor’s filling Victoria in on everything, Adam will call Sally with the news that Billy exposed their secret deal and now has a fight on his hands.
