Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one actress from the Peacock sudser recently shared some exciting news on social media.
It turns out Emily O’Brien (Gwen Rizczech) is officially married following a grand wedding to the man of her dreams.
On Instagram, O’Brien offered up some gorgeous pics of the event.
It’s easy to see that O’Brien and her new husband, Ken Barnett, had an amazing wedding day that they’ll never forget.
“I married my best friend this weekend… Ken, this life is more colorful, more adventurous & so much more beautiful with you in it. You make every dream a reality,” O’Brien said in a sweet message to her hubby.
It turns out the bridal gown Emily O’Brien wore for the ceremony had some significance. O’Brien spoke about that in her post, so here’s what the Days star had to say.
“Wearing your grandmothers heirloom wedding dress from 1956 was just the cherry…” O’Brien insisted.
Of course, O’Brien quickly got a flood of congratulatory comments from some other Days cast members.
The DOOL family was quick to chime in and let O’Brien know just how thrilled they were for her.
“The MOST beautiful wedding for the most beautiful couple!!” Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton) exclaimed.
“Spectacular and beautiful. Zero notes. Congrats you two!!” Greg Rikaart (Leo Stark) said in a comment of his own.
Abigail Klein (Stephanie Kiriakis) gushed over the “Storybook!” marriage ceremony while Eric Martsolf (Brady Black), Robert Scott Wilson (Alex Kiriakis) and Remington Hoffman (ex-Li Shin) offered up some supportive words, too.
Days fans know Emily O’Brien best as Gwen Rizczech and sometimes Theresa Donovan, but The Young and the Restless viewers may also remember her from her time portraying Jana Hawkes.
O’Brien has played her fair share of disastrous wedding and marriage mayhem storylines, but her real-life ceremony thankfully went off without a hitch.
It was lovely to get a glimpse of this special occasion that was clearly filled with such happiness and love.
