The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one actor who was given the boot has a new role in the works.
Lucas Adams (ex-Noah Newman, ex-Tripp Johnson on Days of Our Lives) recently made a speedy Y&R exit, but it won’t be long until fans can catch him in an ABC primetime guest spot.
On Instagram, someone from the agency representing Adams offered up an explanation for his departure from the CBS soap and shared a little more about what’s next.
Noah returned to Los Angeles with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) to escape all the Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) drama in Genoa City, but New Beginnings Entertainment hinted about the behind-the-scenes factors in play.
“In case ya’ll are wondering! -sometimes changes have nothing to do with that actor!- we all know SOAPS are storyline driven and with a new writer in town- they drove these two right out!-well maybe just for a little while lol,” the agency said in their post.
Noah insisted the LA move was temporary, so we might see him return to GC somewhere down the line.
Whether Noah comes home single or remains a couple with Sienna, no one can rule out his comeback at some point.
That said, Lucas Adams is keeping busy in the meantime. Here’s what Adams’ agency had to say about his next role and the one after that.
“Not to fear though Lucas is making his mark just the same with a Guest Starring role on RJ Decker and a REALLY COOL, REALLY NEAT, REALLY SECRETIVE PROJECT ( can NOT wait to share this one) that is keeping him really busy this month!”
Adams’ IMDb page reveals that he’s playing a character named Liam Jansen in R.J. Decker’s second season premiere, which is set to air on September 15. It’s great to hear that Adams scored an ABC primetime guest gig!
There’s no news on Adams’ other project just yet since it’s such a big secret, but it certainly sounds exciting.
It’s good that Adams has something else to keep him busy while we wait to see if Y&R might bring Noah back down the road.
