Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for the week of August 17-21 reveals that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will deal with more terrible news while Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) faces a grim fate and Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) little one comes into the world.
Days’ weekly promo kicks off with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) greeting Lexie in the hospital, where she’ll be taken now that they’ve found her in the DiMera tunnels.
Unfortunately, there won’t be much Lexie’s doctors can do other than make her more comfortable in her final hours.
Days spoilers say Abe and Theo will be by Lexie’s side as she dies once again.
However, DOOL will highlight the circle of life in the week ahead and show a new beginning as well.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will hold Chanel’s hand as she gives birth to their baby, but the delivery will take a complicated turn.
While Chanel and Johnny face some scary moments, Joy will face the same as Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) shares some details on her condition.
Since Joy is struggling with spinal stenosis, she’ll push Kayla for answers regarding her recovery chances.
“Worst-case scenario is paralysis,” Kayla admits to a distraught Joy in the weekly preview video.
Other Days spoilers say Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) and Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia) will babysit Trey DiMera (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue) for a bit.
That’ll give Aaron an opportunity to bond with his biological son.
Across town, Foster’s (Miles Anderson) evening with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will lead to some romantic scenes.
It won’t be long until Foster catches Julie off guard by leaning in for a kiss.
In Alamainia, captive Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will urge Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) to understand that they’ll never have a real relationship.
Dimitri can’t force Leo to feel the same way anymore, so Leo will push him to accept that.
“If you really love me, you will let me go,” Leo says as he pleads with Dimitri in the weekly promo.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo will end up back in Salem soon, so Dimitri may finally see the light and surrender.
