Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for the week of August 24-28 reveals that a couple of characters have been recast, so their first appearances are on the way.
Plus, there’ll be a shocker during Cat Greene’s (AnnaLynne McCord) hypnosis session and some final words from Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) thanks to a letter she wrote.
DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) savoring some blissful moments with their baby girl, so they’ll continue to celebrate her arrival.
Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) will have something to celebrate too now that his kids have wrapped up their summer vacation in Boston.
Days spoilers confirm Cole Gersmeyer will first appear as a Thomas DiMera recast starting August 25.
That same day, Pippa Blaylock will debut as a Charlotte DiMera recast as well.
Thomas and Charlotte can be seen sharing a warm embrace with Chad in Days’ weekly preview video, so a sweet family reunion is in store.
In the town square, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will cross paths with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), so that’ll bring an awkward request.
Since Jack was worried about Gwen following the news of her disappearance, he’ll wonder if he can give his daughter a hug.
Now that Jack knows Gwen is safe, Days spoilers say he’ll want to show her some love.
Gwen and Jack are trying to work on their relationship, so she should grant his request and enjoy feeling a little closer to her dad.
Next, Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) will get into another fight with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and warn that they can’t keep going on like this.
It’ll leave Alex wondering what Stephanie is saying, so he may ask if she wants to end their marriage.
During another hypnosis session, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will help Cat pull up a significant memory from her time at the clinic with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
It’s sure to throw Cat for a loop once she remembers.
At the DiMera mansion, EJ will deliver orders over the phone and work to make sure George O’Halloran (Michael Ross) keeps a lid on the whole Coriseal situation.
Finally, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will open a letter that Lexie wrote before her demise, so he’ll read the last words she’ll ever write to him.
As Lexie’s note offers a final farewell and some heartfelt guidance, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will be there to support Theo.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Theo and Abe will have a difficult loss to grieve, but maybe Lexie’s letter can make the pain a bit more bearable.
