The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 24 to September 4, reveal that there’ll be some fugitive mayhem along with a scandal and a crisis that brings some interrogations.
During the week of August 24-28, Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) will bond with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in rehab.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also try to shut down Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) attempt to get Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) involved in helping with Nick’s recovery.
As for Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), Y&R spoilers say he’ll decide to side with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) over Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) when it comes to the fight for Chancellor.
That’ll be good news as far as Lily’s concerned since she could use another ally.
Lily will also seek guidance from Jack and hope he’s willing to agree to the loan payoff, but Jack may reject her offer in the end.
Billy and Lily have another heated confrontation coming up, so their feud is far from over.
Next, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make a pitch to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that involves business, but it’ll turn to pleasure later since they’ll surrender to temptation in the Jabot office.
Kyle and Victoria will get swept up in a passionate kiss, which could lead to a full-blown intimate encounter.
Victoria and Kyle may realize it was a mistake before making a pact of silence in the aftermath.
After Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) disappears, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will grill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and eventually corner Victor for the truth.
Victor will stonewall Phyllis, but she may remain convinced that he’s to blame for Matt vanishing.
It looks like Victor will indeed be responsible for sending Matt to the same maximum-security psychiatric ward that’s currently holding Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Patty is stuck there while she awaits trial and will bump into Matt once he’s apparently in the same boat.
Back with Jack, he’ll treat Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) to a romantic trip. That could set the stage for catastrophe thanks to Matt and Patty’s alliance.
There’s a good chance Patty and Matt are going to plot their escape, so they may find a way out of their facility despite the maximum-security measures.
That could lead to some chaos erupting during the week of August 31-September 4.
It’s easy to imagine Kyle frantically trying to get in touch with his parents and warn them about Patty going MIA, but Jack and Diane may be unreachable.
Will Patty show up on Diane and Jack’s getaway?
Will Jack and Diane have to deal with another round of danger as a result?
As for Matt, he may seek Phyllis out in the aftermath of his own escape and explain what happened.
Will Matt end up reverting to some sinister behavior once Victor pushes him to his limit?
As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll have surgery on his hand and hope he gets the result he wants.
Nate is eager to get back into medicine, so Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will keep cheering him on and will grow even closer to him in the process.
Finally, Billy will remain determined to snatch control of Chancellor, but could more snags get in his way?
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will certainly be worried about Billy’s fixation and the possibility of him going totally off the rails if his plan fails.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the next two weeks will be packed with action, so stay tuned.
