General Hospital’s (GH) preview video for the week of August 31-September 4 notes that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will hold Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at gunpoint, while Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron West) plan turns deadly.
GH has just dropped its weekly promo, and it looks like another crazy week in the land of Port Charles, so let’s unpack all the drama!
General Hospital’s preview video for the week of August 31 opens with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at her Metro Court office with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Carly frantically explains that all the security cameras in the establishment are down, and the alarms have been deactivated.
A gloved hand is shown inserting a flash drive into a computer.
GH fans know that Drew was planning on deactivating the security at the Metro Court so he could ransack Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room to find that blackmailing evidence the WSB Chief has on him.
With that said, it looks like this scheme will take a very ugly turn.
Speaking of Drew, as scenes shift in the promo, he’s shown in Brennan’s room, with a flashlight, while Ava can be heard in the voiceover, panicked, saying, “We have to get the hell out of here, Drew, now!”
Brennan is then shown, looking disheveled, in an elevator.
During the Friday, August 28 episode, Ava planted some sleeping pills into Brennan’s drink to keep him ‘distracted’ so Drew could search his room.
As reports indicate that Brennan is slated to exit this fall, and he’ll be killed off, there’s a good chance his untimely demise takes place this week, at the hands of Ava and Drew, no less!
Back to Jason and Carly, the man tells his best friend that something is off, and the blonde has a very shocked look on her face as he says this.
As the General Hospital weekly preview comes to a close, the words, “Their Time Is Up”, flash across the screen.
Britt is then shown, in the middle of the woods somewhere at night, as she asks, “Why do we have to meet all the way out here?”
She’s talking to Anna, who pulls out a gun and points it at her. Anna tells Britt, “So no one can hear you scream.”
Drew, Brennan’s, and then Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) faces all flash up on the screen, simultaneously: all with shocked looks, and the GH weekly video preview ends.
