The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that it could be a mistake to bring Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) on board at Logan.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) is obviously interested in stealing Zende for her own fashion house, but can he be trusted?
It worked out well when Katie invited Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) to become part of the Logan team, but that was a different situation.
Deke was out of a job anyway since the Forresters had already cut him loose by then.
As for Hope and Katie, B&B fans can’t ignore their family bond.
Katie and Hope are both Logans, so Hope is arguably at her real family company now instead of pretending she fits in with the Forrester clan.
With Zende, there’s a certain level of Forrester loyalty that may be tough for him to shake.
Zende is feeling fed up with the treatment he’s receiving at Forrester Creations, but Eric Forrester (John McCook) felt the same way when he was temporarily forced into retirement.
That led to Eric offering to help Katie, but he eventually bailed on their agreement and went crawling back to his family business.
Katie runs the risk of something similar happening if she poaches Zende as planned.
It’s even possible that Zende will come up with a plan to dupe Katie and Hope.
After all, Zende is still feeling pretty betrayed by Hope at this point for ditching Hope for the Future since all his hard work went up in smoke.
If Zende plays this just right, there might be a way for him to gain more influence and appreciation at Forrester Creations.
What if Zende offers to spy for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and everyone else at his family company?
Zende might suggest that he could report back with whatever Katie’s cooking up and make sure the Forresters stay one step ahead of the game.
If there are opportunities to sabotage any Logan debuts and give Forrester launches a boost, Zende could take advantage of those, too.
In other words, Zende could pretend he’s outraged enough to trade Forrester for Logan while keeping his Forrester loyalty intact.
The goal could be to make Ridge and the others so grateful that he finally gets his chance to shine at Forrester Creations.
If Zende double-crosses Katie and Hope, that could lead to a rude awakening when the time is right.
