The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 30, reveal that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will remain out of the loop.

Let’s start with Claire, who’ll interact with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in Wednesday’s show.
Kyle and Victoria will have to pretend nothing is going on between them, which may be harder than expected.
Even if Claire notices things are a bit weird, she may just assume it’s because of tension between the Abbotts and Newmans.
Regardless, Claire won’t figure out Victoria and Kyle’s secret at this point, so they’ll be relieved about that.
Over with Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), they’ll have an important discussion about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and his future.
There’s nothing that matters more to Victor right now than making sure Nick’s recovery stays on track, so he’ll focus on that number one goal.
Nikki and Victor will have a strategy session about the best way to keep Nick on a positive path.
That’ll force a difficult choice for Nikki and Victor, so stay tuned to see what they’ll plan to do for Nick.
As for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), it looks like she’ll also have Nick on her mind in Wednesday’s Y&R episode.
Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will offer Sharon some guidance, so she may see that Sharon is deep in thought and assume Nick is the reason why.
This could lead to Esther playing matchmaker a bit and pushing Sharon back in Nick’s direction romantically.
Even Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is rooting for Nick and Sharon based on what he told them at Crimson Lights recently.
Esther may have a hunch that Sharon and Nick are going to end up together, but Sharon’s main concern will be Nick’s recovery.
Nick has to concentrate on healing before he can even think about his romantic future with Sharon or anyone else.
