The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) dream of a perfect marriage ceremony may go up in smoke! Will Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) be a big reason why Sally’s wedding day goes off the rails?
Y&R fans know Billy is prone to temper tantrums and has a hard time sticking to his promises.
Although Billy has good intentions when it comes to Sally, he tends to let her down sooner or later.
That’s why trouble could be brewing at Sally and Billy’s nuptials. If Billy can’t behave long enough to tie the knot and have a proper celebration with Sally, this wedding may turn into a giant mess!
For starters, Billy may not be able to keep the peace with Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) if she actually shows up.
It’s tough for Billy to even be in the same room without a shouting match starting with his mother, so Jill’s presence alone could cause drama.
However, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) might be an even bigger trigger for Billy now that he’s agreed to Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) request to accompany her to the wedding.
Chelsea is hoping they can all get along and maybe use this marriage event as a new beginning.
Since Sally invited Chelsea to be a bridesmaid, Chelsea likes the idea of building a friendship with her.
It’s a stretch to think Adam and Billy could ever be anything besides enemies, but Chelsea is still hoping maybe they can all find a peaceful path forward.
Of course, Chelsea may not get her wish if Adam’s attendance pushes Billy to a wedding day breaking point.
Billy could end up getting into a brawl with Adam or at least a heated argument.
Between that and whatever fury Billy might unleash on Jill, Sally may have multiple reasons to stress out and feel like her wedding has been ruined.
Billy’s anger explosion might even be what sends Sally into labor since there’s a good chance she’s going to deliver this baby early.
The show has the ideal opportunity for a dramatic delivery at some point during the marriage festivities.
Billy just might deserve the worst groom ever award if Sally’s man-child ruins the wedding!
