In tonight’s Big Brother episode, the last HOH competition of the season came down to Devens, Taylor, and Drew. It would define the final two. Which was why Taylor made sure to win Part I. Taylor was the one on a winning streak. Her winning this time just goes to show that she always had it in her and that often timing was what defeated her.

Drew had been the first out because the rain on too of lightning had distracted him. The next one out had of course been Devens because he was so focused on winning that he overthought it. Taylor ended up winning by her patience. She didn’t aim. She just aimed to hold on the longest.

It helped her get to the next round. She was then left as host for the Part II. The part determining who’d compete against her. They went further back in time to the late sixteenth century for it that challenge.

Drew won the first round. Only Devens’s back began to act up. They had to pull a slingshot to knock out characters from earlier in the season. It goes with the trivia questions. The second round still went to Devens because Drew made another mistake. They were neck and neck until Devens pulled out a win. He needed it.

Devens knew Taylor would most likely not take him with her to the final two. Its why he needed to bring out another win. Drew meanwhile was kicking himself for losing to a forty-two year old man with a bad back. He said that had been his to lose and that’s exactly what happened. He lost. It was Talor vs Devens for Part III.

The two of them got all dressed up. Taylor looked stunning. Her pantsuit to her makeup was all flawless. Devens dressed up well too. He wore a great suit. And he was still giving off dad vibes.

They also got to play in modern clothes for once. They didn’t time-travel. The future instead sent back a message to them. The message was from the jury at the time. The messages were hilarious.

Again, it was trivia. Taylor knew just as much as Devens because they both got along with everyone. The jury definitely had fun with this one because they dressed their part with makeup. And a sense of humor that couldn’t be shaken in spite not winning.

Why they had Yash go bald? His hair was important to him. It was one thing for Zingbot to have a go at it now the future as well? Still, it was anyone’s game with trivia. Taylor got some right ones. Devens got some right ones. The one that pulled out ahead to win Part III was Devens. The man was very clearly paying close attention.

Devens was going to the final two. He never even made it that far on “Survivor” so this was a momentous achievement of him. And the winner will be determined by who he brings with him.

Devens was the last HOH. He won Part II. He won Part III. The last vote was decided by him on who would make it the final two. Devens ultimately chose Taylor. Though its ironic that Devens taught Drew the same lesson he learned on the other show. The game shouldn’t be played with sentiment.

Drew was such a fan that he blew up his own game and he found himself eliminated by his last remaining friend in the house. It broke his heart. It was the only thing that seemed to dent his confidence.

Drew was in tears during his interview with Julie. Julie never pushed him on some of the rumors going on outside. Like accusations of racism. He’s been accused of targeting people of color in the house and Julie never asked about it.

It was a missed opportunity. Drew was still looking a little hurt by time he joined the rest of the jury. The others were happy to see him. They wanted it to come down to Devens or Taylor.

The jury gathered. They saw the final two. They went in with their questions. Julie kept limiting Devens on time because the man was passionately revealing everything. Taylor was calmer only she still had a lot to say too. They each answered every question. They mentioned the moves they had been behind. Taylor was the one that broke up the powerhouse because she was behind the move to oust Lyric. She said the next three eliminations were also her handiwork. Devens got out Kamu. He came in as an underdog because no one wished to side with the icons after the chaos they caused.

Chaos they caused together. Sure, he had a reward but he could’ve easily gotten a punishment. He was quick to form alliances and quick to abandoned them the moment they proved unreliable. Taylor was also smart in that she played her game from behind the scene. She was someone known as living in her pod. She came out to make big moves and no one can deny that the Toolshed alliance quickly fell apart thanks to Lyric going home. She couldn’t take all the credit. There were other moving parts. And so Taylor played a strategic game.

According to rumor from behind the scenes, Julie had been upset with the inclusion of the icons. She allegedly didn’t want the “Survivor” people making a crossover. Tonight might confirm that feeling or it might not. It all depends on the way the jury votes. The icons made for great summer tv with their pure chaotic selves, but who won “Big Brother 28”? They brought back the rest of the cast for the reveal. Rome and Lyric were still together and were considering moving in together. Jason showed up in drag. And Mallory revealed she’s a rocket scientist.

But the winner of this season was Rick Devens! The man finally won and he cried tears of joy with his family. And won Houseguest MVP!

THE END!
