The Young and the Restless’ Early Thanksgiving Leak – Exciting Return, Family Reunion and More

The Young and the Restless’ Early Thanksgiving Leak, Exciting Return, Family Reunion and More

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that some exciting developments are ahead on the CBS soap.

With the writing transition underway, it’s a good time to get pumped about what’s coming up. That includes the holiday season that’s just around the corner.

You’ve probably heard by now that Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor have been named Y&R’s new co-head writers.

The two of them have been hard at work writing new material, which will air starting November 11.

Of course, that means O’Connor and Giddens’ episodes will be on-screen in time for some November sweeps drama and the upcoming Thanksgiving celebrations.

Giddens hinted about the latter in a recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Dan and I can’t wait for you to watch Thanksgiving in Genoa City,” Giddens said.

Giddens also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of some familiar faces, including one who hasn’t been seen in a while.

Lucy Romalotti (Lily O’Briant) will return for some family reunion scenes that’ll air during all the Y&R Thanksgiving fun.

O’Briant is posing in the pic along with Michael Graziadei (Daniel Romalotti Jr.), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti), Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Romalotti) and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin).

Phyllis has already been making some progress when it comes to reconnecting with Daniel, who was relieved when she didn’t run off with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Despite all the issues between them, Daniel loves Phyllis and wants her to stick around GC.

Thankfully, Phyllis decided she would indeed remain in town and try to make amends.

Things will apparently still be going well by the time Thanksgiving arrives in Genoa City if this early leak is any indication.

Phyllis will apparently enjoy a true family reunion once the holiday season kicks off, so that should warm her heart.

That said, if Christine and Phyllis are forced to sit across the Thanksgiving table from each other, there’ll inevitably be some drama, too!

Danny will no doubt work to keep the peace between Phyllis and Christine, but that’ll be easier said than done.

Nevertheless, Christine and Phyllis will hopefully manage to get through dinner without tearing each other apart.
