The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, October 5, reveals that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will take matters into her own hands after she realizes Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) isn’t the loyal ally she hoped he was.
Some exciting moments are coming up in Monday’s Y&R episode, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
At the Newman ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will talk to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about having his men out searching for Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell), but there won’t be any sign of him.
Adam will guess it’s good that Joe isn’t in a ditch somewhere since he’ll be worried Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might’ve taken things too far.
Once Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) arrives, he’ll get Victor to corroborate Nick’s version of what happened with Joe, who’s now missing.
Adam will rant about Joe being a lowlife and push Burrow to focus on him instead of accusing Nick of anything.
Next, viewers will see a new set since the park café will now have an indoor area.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will lock in her deal with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) there, so she’ll admit she took out some big loans to buy the GCAC and the office building across from Newman Enterprises.
Once the deal is done, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will come along and grill Phyllis about her purchases.
Since Daniel will fear Phyllis headed down another risky road, he’ll get Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) on the phone to talk some sense into their mother.
Phyllis will cry as she pleads with Summer to be a family again, but Summer will end the phone call abruptly after quizzing her mother.
At Society, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will admit to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that the lab is backed up, so she won’t have her results yet.
Although Lily’s heart will want to trust Cane with the truth about her cancer scare, her head will leave her overthinking things.
Nate will feel like he’d want to know if he were in Cane’s shoes.
Once Devon pops up, Lily will admit her cancer might be back and explain that she’s waiting on results to confirm one way or another.
After Cane arrives to find Lily hugging Devon, she’ll pretend she simply had a sentimental moment with him.
Cane will still suspect something’s off, so he’ll push Lily to open up to him once they’re alone.
Lily will finally admit there’s something she can’t tell Cane right now and urge him to trust her until she can divulge everything.
Cane will just want Lily to be OK and will remain concerned about her secret.
Nearby, Devon will surprise Nate by thinking Lily should confess to Cane, who really stepped up for the last time she had cancer.
As for Matt, he’ll be driving with Patty in the passenger seat.
Patty will gush over all the big plans she has for their future, but Matt will confess he was thinking she could turn herself in.
Matt will suspect Patty has remorse like him deep down, but she’ll insist she’s someone who grabs whatever she wants.
Although Matt will wonder if maybe Patty had a traumatic childhood, she’ll insist it was wonderful instead and will reflect on a sweet memory with her father.
Matt will question what little Patty would think of her now after all the horrible things she’s done.
Patty will blame Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and others for making her go after revenge.
Despite Matt’s plea for Patty to do the right thing, she’ll insist she’d rather die than get locked up again.
Patty will ultimately grab the wheel and leave the car spiraling out of control.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Matt’s scheme will obviously go awry, so don’t miss the troubling news to come!
