In tonight’s Tracker episode, Colter Shaw found himself heading to LA on tonight’s season premiere. He was hired by a scared teenager. The kid said his dad hasn’t come home and he was worried about him and what it might mean for his younger brother. The mom didn’t seem to be in the picture.

Whether she passed away or walked away – those kids couldn’t stay by themselves for days much less weeks at a time. The oldest boy knew better than to call the cops. He also didn’t consider calling any other possible family members so maybe those don’t exist. He instead pretended to be his dad’s brother to hire Colter for a missing persons job.

The missing man was Sean Wooledge. It was revealed his wife passed away. It is just Sean, Charlie, and the younger one that everyone was doing their best to protect from what all of this could mean. Sean didn’t want his kids finding about his girlfriend.

He thought they weren’t ready to meet her. he might not have been wrong because now she has issues. She asked Sean for help in getting a gun and he got one from his buddy. Its what he did when he walked out that night. Colter was merely stumped on what happened next.

A gun was a big move. Was the girlfriend getting harassed or feeling in danger? They should have brought the matter to the cops and now it has resulted in dead bodies and missing persons. Just operating backwards. Colter went looking for a missing persons when he found a dead body at the girlfriend’s house.

Her name is Stephanie Rodriguez. She’s seemingly clean on paper. Colter goes to her house. Two people were attacked there. It could’ve been Stephanie Sean. Or Stephanie got her boyfriend involved in what could be far more dangerous than she let on.

Colter had to bring in the cops when he spotted the crime scene. They were going to run analysis. They were looking for the people just as much as Colter was. The result was that it might be connected to one of the ports out of LA. Stephanie’s ex-boyfriend worked there. He might have hidden some things there.

All Colter knew was that when he checked it out he spotted zip ties. People don’t even tied victims’ hands in rope or bring along cuffs. They use zip ties instead. Which made this feel like domestic and plain old violence.

There were so many crates at the port that Colter had to surveille the area. He finally picked up on Sean’s location. He found Sean being manhandled and he got him to safety.

It was Sean who explained everything else. It turns out Stephanie works in the office at the port. Her ex reached out to her out of the blood because he wanted to use a ghost ship. One that couldn’t be tracked and that it wouldn’t be on any manifests. To do that, he needed Stephanie to arrest signs of the ship from city’s port service.

The ex-boyfriend was working with a crew of people. One person’s job was pressuring Stephanie. They kidnapped her boyfriend and threatened to kill him. It made her unfortunately fall in love. The others chose to focus on the cargo they were bringing in. It wasn’t just any cargo.

It was people. It was human trafficking. Those never end well. Colter called Reenie. Reenie called her contact in law enforcement for the area. Sean was pretty banged up so Colter asked him to sit out the fight. He went looking for the men that grabbed Stephanie by himself.

Colter slowly took them down one by one. He found the cargo haul. He freed everyone inside and now he leaves the rest up to LAPD and federal investigation services.

Those people in that cargo hold had applied for visas. They thought they were coming to America to work. Then the next thing they knew was that someone was shoving them in a shipping container for days on end. Colter saved a lot of lives. He returned Sean to his kids and they got to meet Stephanie. It was a job well-done. The older boy asked how he owes him.

Only Colter said as long as he stays in court and the right path that he come to square things off after he graduates.

Colter saw a lot of himself in the kid so he was hoping to mentor him one day.

THE END!
