The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will inevitably get a baby shower down the road.
Once this pregnancy storyline moves along, there’ll surely be a special event to celebrate Daphne and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) impending bundle of joy.
Of course, Steffy is playing the part of egg donor and surrogate, so she’s planning on giving her biological child to Daphne to raise.
That’s not going to get any easier as Steffy gets closer to the birth, but it’s definitely a commitment she’s made at this point.
Although Daphne wasn’t thrilled about Steffy and Carter keeping the embryo transfer a secret, she assumes they were trying to protect her feelings in case something went wrong.
Daphne still views Steffy as an incredible woman who’s making a huge sacrifice.
That’s why Daphne will probably make this baby shower a celebration of their amazing surrogate, too.
This party will bring some baby gifts and help Daphne prepare for motherhood, but she’ll no doubt include Steffy as the woman making all this possible.
B&B’s October 6 episode brought a baby shower mention in Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) conversation, but he suggested it was a little early to be planning one.
However, it was a good reminder for fans that a baby shower will surely happen down the line and could set the stage for some chaos.
Most parties come with some trouble on soaps, so that’s worth keeping in mind.
We know that Brooke has a new story in the works that’s separate from all the Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) fashion feuding.
Perhaps Brooke will find out what Carter and Steffy are hiding.
That could make it tough for Brooke to hold her tongue once the baby shower gets underway.
There might be a close call where Brooke and Steffy end up bickering within Daphne’s earshot.
Then again, maybe someone like Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) could crash the party if she figures out Steffy’s secret and blackmails her.
Sheila might create problems for Steffy and leave her scrambling to silence her mother-in-law.
Naturally, there could be some other way for this baby shower to blow up instead, but the point is that drama could erupt.
This seems like a great opportunity for some excitement, so stay tuned for any twists and turns that might be in store.
