General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, October 8, says Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will come through for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) by siding with him.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will hear a pitch and settle on a new path to revenge.
There’ll be a couple of big surprises headed Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) way as well, so let’s discuss all the drama that’s brewing.
During Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) upcoming conversation, she’ll present the possibility of trading the legal separation for a full-blown divorce.
At GH, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will deliver some unexpected news to Curtis, who’ll learn Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) got her into the clinic in Baden-Baden for scar removal.
Jordan won’t like the idea of running off to Germany while Curtis is injured in a hospital bed, but he’ll push her to go.
Even when Jordan suggests Curtis probably wouldn’t do the same in her shoes, he’ll refuse to let her pass up this chance.
It may not be long until Monet shows back up for another legal meeting.
Jordan may demand to know what Monet is doing there and surprise Curtis once again when he finds out they’re sisters.
In Carly’s office, she’ll have a heated confrontation with Drew. Drew will voice some grievances and perhaps get a reminder of how much he’s turned against Carly since their breakup.
Once Carly heads to Sonny’s house, he’ll promise he didn’t order Vito (Sam Duffy) to attack Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Sonny isn’t at fault for Curtis becoming collateral damage either, so he’ll look Carly in the eye and hope she believes him.
Carly knows Sonny better than just about anyone and can tell when he’s lying.
It should be pretty easy for Carly to pick up on Sonny’s honesty here, so she’ll reassure him and leave him relieved.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) will apparently cross paths with Carly at Sonny’s place, so tension will erupt right off the bat.
It’ll leave Ava grumbling about not wanting Avery Corinthos (last played by Ava and Grace Scarola) under Sonny’s roof when she’s exposed to people who’ll trash her like Carly.
Drew and Ava’s next meeting will bring a proposal about going after another mutual enemy.
Ava will want to continue their alliance with a Carly payback plot, so Drew should get on board with her takedown.
At the gatehouse, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will seem nervous as she gets a pep talk from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Britt will try to convince Willow that Drew’s not going to be a problem, but she may be wrong about that!
Whether Drew offered off-screen confirmation on any of Willow’s criminal activity or not, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is going to deliver a jaw-dropping article about the fake stroke mess.
Drew signed a waiver that allowed Lulu to chase down medical details at the hospital.
Those details should back up Sidwell’s apparent claims about Willow’s paralytic injections and just how low she was willing to sink.
Once Lulu publishes her accusations regarding Willow, that’s all anyone in Port Charles will be able to talk about!
Chase will see the story and most likely rush to Willow’s defense despite how bad things look.
General Hospital spoilers say Michael, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will see the exposé too, so Tracy will celebrate Willow being publicly disgraced.
