The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that some obsessed Genoa City residents could cause problems.
The show is setting up some powerful fixations that could lead to outrage, heartache and more.
With that in mind, we should talk about four obsessions that are about to take over Genoa City.
Big trouble is brewing on the CBS soap, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
1) Diane consumed by desire to watch Nikki’s downfall
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) is already craving the destruction of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Vibrante, but that craving is only going to get stronger from here.
It’s clear that Diane can’t rest until she ruins Jabot’s new rival company and takes Nikki down in the process.
Obsessed Diane is going to blow up her own marriage since she’s deceiving Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and will blindside him with her actions down the road.
2) Adam gets obsessed with Sally’s baby
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has already been drawn to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) throughout her pregnancy, including when he felt the baby kick recently.
After Sally’s baby arrives, Adam seems poised to obsess over this little one even more.
If Adam helps Sally deliver the baby as expected, that’s only going to add to his fixation.
This could lead to issues in Adam’s relationship with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and worsen his conflict with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as well.
3) Nate fixates on getting back in the operating room too soon
As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he may be a bit too eager to get back in the operating room.
Y&R spoilers suggest there are going to be some snags when it comes to Nate’s plan to perform surgery again.
Nate will grow frustrated over some setbacks and could potentially make some mistakes if he tries to return to the OR too soon!
This started out as a positive storyline for Nate, but it could ultimately turn into a problematic one.
4) Claire obsesses over figuring out Mom’s mystery man
Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) has already noticed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) coming home late and smiling over random things on her phone.
It may not be long until Claire realizes Victoria is secretly involved with someone.
Claire may obsess over finding out the identity of Victoria’s mystery man.
That could obviously lead to trouble since Victoria is hiding her connection to Claire’s ex, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
