In tonight’s 9-1-1 episode, someone released a swarm of murder hornets on the Bennett Musuem. The murder hornets are indigenous to East Asia. They’ve been known to travel to the US before and that’s usually because they come along in a crate by accident. This time was different. It was just one or two.
It was a whole swarm that someone deliberately released upon an auction gala. It was revealed later on that it was a series of attacks on Nashville. The perp or perps behind this was someone who relied heavily on the bible.
First, there was a swarm. The next one was a river of blood. This attacker was using the bible as inspiration for their attacks on a bunch of innocent people. They nearly killed a pregnant woman in that swarm.
The murder hornets were drawn by noise, lights, they could puncture the firefighter’s suits, and can spit out venom. They were considered apex predators that were known to evolve. Captain Don Hart managed to take care of them by vacuuming them up. He thought that would be until he noticed the cop taping off the scene.
The cop’s was with Metro Police. Detective Rogue Kelly was originally from New York. He suspected that what happened that night was no accident at all. He the first to realize someone carried a bunch of the murder hornets in and riled them up by turning up the heat.
It was summertime in that museum when normally they try to preserve the art at seventy degrees max. Kelly was good that he also noticed something was wrong with Don. Don got a hornet into his uniform. The stinger broke off in his neck. And Kelly saw him touching the area right before he passed out.
He said where the stinger was most likely to be. They used that to save Don’t life. His son also made sure that he got a physical. Don has issues with high blood pressure on top of high glucose. He needed a GLP-1. He just couldn’t take it. He’d lose muscle mass and he couldn’t keep being a firefighter if he was too weak to help or do anything in the field.
There were also other risks. Don refused to take his daughter-in-law’s advice. He went home upset where the hits kept coming. The only reason his wife wasn’t in jail was because she and Dixie have been ordered in anger management.
Dixie and Blythe attended the sessions together in a group setting. The judge felt they were too closely connected to solve their problems separately. They attended their first session together. They almost came to blows again. Blythe soon realized that she was angry. It just hadn’t been with Dixie. She was angry with Don. He didn’t go to the house to sleep with Dixie. It was a point in his favor. He did however sent Dixie an all in text with a devil emoji. It was the emoji that made Blythe realize how angry they both were with each other.
Blythe moved Don’s stuff to the guest room after that realization. It’s called a bed divorce. She needed space to determine the next steps in their marriage. She and Don agreed to hide this bed divorce from the kids at Sunday brunch. Until someone invited the new detective. He observed the two were separated. He blurted it out at brunch. Ryan had no clue his parents were having problems. Don and Blythe reassured they weren’t. They were going through something new. It was considered very modern.
It merely hadn’t been an accident on the detective’s part. He was annoyed with Don. He let that leak out into brunch. Don had cut him off as the other man was explaining what he found at the crime scene. For it was indeed a crime scene. The perp pushed biblical references into the hornet’s nest. He was telling the story when Don cut him off and Cammie remembered what he had to say. It came in handy during the second attack. The killer struck again when they locked a door on a woman on crunches.
They trapped Judy in the laundry of her building. They then flooded it with blood. Don was worried about the risks to his team. He wanted to go alone. His boys refused to stand back. They went and working together they rescued Judy before she drowned. Everyone had to get checked out at a hospital afterwards. There was no telling what was in that blood. Judy survived after hitting her head down there. The fact that it was blood helped. Blood was thicker than water. Judy’s life was saved. And Don knew where the blood came from.
It came from the butcher’s shop next door. Don knew the blood wasn’t human. He said it smelled gamey. The butcher shop makes blood sausages and someone left another biblical message on a pig carcass. They released the flood to replicate what happened in the bible.
And the whole of Nashville wanted to know was responsible.
THE END!
