General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, October 23, reveals that Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) attorney went after millions and tried to back Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) into a corner.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) also revealed some huge news about Aiden Webber’s (Colin Cassidy) future.
At GH, Elizabeth opened up to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Aiden getting his GED and getting accepted at a fancy pastry school in France.
It was tough for Liz to think about all her boys being out of the house, especially since Aiden was leaving in just four days.
Elizabeth admitted she’d have to bake a bunch of cupcakes for the upcoming Halloween party herself, so Dante offered to help her.
At the Port Charles Grill, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) considered the possibility that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) set him up for the Pentonville attack drama and sent Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to find out the truth from Joss.
In the meantime, Sonny summoned Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) for a meeting via text, which worried Josslyn.
Although Josslyn wanted to go in Hudson’s place, he insisted on meeting with Sonny himself.
Later, Hudson sat down with Sonny, who suggested Jasper “Jax” Jacks (last played by Ingo Rademacher) wouldn’t be happy when he returned from his travels and found out Josslyn had used JJE for her revenge plot.
Sonny wanted to pay Hudson to stick with the company and keep Josslyn on the right track.
Hudson realized that’d work out well for him too and guessed he’d get a hefty consultation fee as part of this deal.
Sonny insisted Hudson would be getting an offer from him and warned that Hudson was a fool if he didn’t take it.
At Josslyn’s apartment, Jason showed up and questioned her about whether she was behind framing Sonny.
Josslyn denied having anything to do with the Pentonville drama and seemed upset that Jason would think that she did.
Jason acknowledged that he believed Sonny’s innocence, but he thought Josslyn was telling the truth, too.
After Jason wondered why Josslyn didn’t loathe him like Sonny, she rattled off a list of reasons why her beloved godfather was different.
At the gallery, Ava Jerome (Maura West) told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) asking too many questions and wanted to move Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) body.
Drew insisted they couldn’t take the risk and downplayed Ava’s concerns since there was no security footage of her giving Brennan that pill.
As far as Drew was concerned, it was best to just leave things alone. Drew felt like everything would be fine as long as Brennan’s corpse wasn’t discovered.
On a plane to the Dominican Republic for a quickie divorce, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) awkwardly spoke about their attorneys getting out of hand.
Once the plane landed, Brook Lynn and Chase met with a judge about ending their marriage, but their praise for each other made it seem like they didn’t really want this split.
Chase and Brook Lynn were ultimately presented with paperwork and told that their divorce would be final if they signed it.
However, Brook Lynn and Chase looked at each other pensively like they were struggling to take go through with this.
After facing off with Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) earlier, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Lulu had a strategy session about the libel suit since Monet was representing Willow.
Elsewhere, Monet quizzed Willow about Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) issues with her and about whether Drew would be a problem.
Willow insisted that Drew hadn’t backed up the article because what Lulu wrote was false.
Once the meeting got underway, Ric tried to convince Willow to drop the lawsuit and suggested things wouldn’t go well for her if this went to court.
Willow stood her ground on fighting back against Lulu’s claims.
Monet noted that instead of the $5 million in damages they originally planned to seek, they’d settle for $2 million.
Monet also pushed for a full retraction, but Lulu and Ric refused to agree to any of this.
Since no agreement could be reached, General Hospital spoilers say some major courtroom drama may be on the way!
