Ewan McGregor is heading to television! That’s right folks, fans of Ewan will get to see him on a weekly basis in the upcoming HBO series, The Corrections.
Ewan has signed on to play ‘Chip’, the middle child in a highly dysfunctional family. The show is being adapted from writer Jonathan Franzen’s acclaimed novel, and the show is currently in the pilot stages.
If you ask me, seeing Ewan in a reoccurring role is amazing. Not only does he make for some great eye candy, the boy can act! Two words – Moulin Rouge.
Chris Cooper and Diane Wiest will play the patriarch and matriarch of the family, and the show will follow them and their three children while looking back on their lives from the mid-20th century to their final Christmas.
So it’s definitely not a comedy right? Sounds interesting, but mostly because I don’t really have any idea what it’s about. Time will tell – but I do know that if HBO is behind it, it’s got to be good…and let’s not forget about Ewan!
