General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s some fun casting news to report, which brought a nice surprise for one current GH star.
It turns out Finn Carr’s (Rocco Falconeri) real-life brother, Elliott Carr, will make a guest appearance on the show soon.
According to SoapSteph’s Daytime Dish, which is veteran soap journalist Stephanie Sloane’s newsletter, Elliott has been cast in a mystery role and will pop up in the June 1 episode.
The article also contained a brief interview with the Carr brothers, so Finn Carr spoke about his reaction when he first heard his older sibling was going to be on the ABC soap, too.
“Funny story — when I found out Elliott was joining GH, I literally jumped out of my chair and screamed,” Finn admitted.
Since Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) and Alexa Havins Bruening (Lulu Spencer) were running lines in the same room at the time, Finn joked about inadvertently scaring his TV parents.
Meanwhile, Elliott Carr gushed over the chance to be on the same show as Finn and how welcome everyone made him feel.
The ABC soap isn’t revealing any details about Elliott’s character or what storyline he might fit into, but he sadly won’t share scenes with Finn – at least not yet!
“Unfortunately, we did not have an overlap in our scenes this time, but I’m hopeful that one day we’ll be able to share the screen together!”
Elliott insisted. “Working with my brother has always been on the bucket list. Would love to be back soon!”
It sounds like whatever role Elliott’s portraying will be open-ended where he can potentially return and share scenes with Finn down the road.
It’d be great to see Finn and Elliott interact on-screen at some point, so we’ll keep you posted on whether that might happen later on.
In the meantime, fans will just have to await Elliott Carr’s GH debut and mull over who might be playing!
