Taylor Swift kicked off her birthday with a tweet to her fans earlier today, “I’m so 22 right now.” And with all she’s accomplished it’s hard to believe that spunky songstress is only 22!
As a singer, actress, song writer and general force of nature, Taylor Swift, has had a pretty kick ass year. Winning Billboard’s Woman of the Year Award; CMT’s Artist of the Year Award; three American Music Awards (including the coveted, Artist of the Year); and another Teen Choice award to add to her collection – 21 is going to be pretty hard to beat. And that’s just in her professional life!
Romantically, Taylor has been linked to some of the biggest names in the entertainment biz: Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and is now keeping a low profile with Parachute frontman, Will Anderson. Sure, she’s had her young heart broken from time to time (um, who hasn’t?) but it never keeps her down. She just turns that big ol’ hurt into into some big ol’ harmonies and whips up another boy-inspired chart topper.
While Taylor hasn’t revealed how she’s spending her big day – whether it’s a celeb filled birthday bash or a low key celebration with BFF, Abigail (inspired the hit song, Fifteen) or gal pal, Selena Gomez, one thing is for sure – Taylor will be keeping it real.
