The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Thursday, April 30, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make a decision about her future with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) decides there might be a way to use Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) to his advantage.
At the Newman ranch, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will refuse to back down, but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will deliver more warnings now that Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) is officially the DA.
At Crimson Lights, Christine will talk to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) about being sworn in off-screen before Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) approaches them.
Michael will suggest Christine’s job is Phyllis’ worst nightmare and explain his mom’s concerns about Victor fabricating evidence against her.
Christine will make it clear that she’d never let past resentment affect her position, but she’ll feel obligated to look into the case if she gets the potentially incriminating information.
Christine will also admit Victoria already spoke to her about this, but Phyllis will still blame Daniel for running his mouth when she finds him with Christine and Danny.
Phyllis will assume Daniel wants her in prison and will talk about the betrayal of a child being like a dagger to the heart.
At the Abbott mansion, Y&R spoilers say Billy will shock Jack by admitting Sally is pregnant and that he proposed.
Jack will be happy for Billy despite his own romantic woes since Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) still isn’t budging on forgiveness.
After Jack tries to make sense of why he hit the sheets with Patty on the yacht, he’ll eventually realize maybe he could convince her they’re a team.
Jack will settle on the idea of using Patty to his advantage against Victor.
At the GCAC, Patty will formally introduce herself to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), who won’t be pleased over her sticking around town.
If Patty does anything to interfere in Jack and Diane’s reunion, Kyle will insist he’ll make it his mission to make her life miserable.
Victoria will show up and bicker with Kyle again soon after.
Kyle will wonder how Victoria sleeps at night knowing what Victor did to destroy his parents’ marriage, but she’ll basically argue Jack is no saint either.
Victoria will argue that they both have flawed fathers, but Kyle won’t agree Jack is anything like Victor.
After Victoria gets a little more vulnerable, she’ll talk about Victor nearly dying last year and how that affected her.
Victoria will suggest a “love the sinner, hate the sin” motto could apply to her as well as Kyle when it comes to their dads.
Later, Jack will arrive and spot Patty sitting at the bar, so he’ll smirk a bit as he gets ready to put his plan in motion.
At the park café, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will speak with Sally, who’ll admit Billy proposed and that she hasn’t given him an answer yet.
Sally will end up talking about her failed engagements to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) from her Los Angeles days.
After Audra helps Sally talk things out, Sally will realize she’s built up some armor over her past that’s getting in the way.
Once Billy finds Sally later, she’ll give him a “definite yes” on his proposal and let him put the ring on her finger.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Billy will celebrate the good news, so stay tuned to see what’s next for these two.
