I can’t believe that I’m getting ready to say something nice about Miley Cyrus, this is unchartered territory for me. We can only praise the Disney teen queen after supporting gay marriage equality and bashing those against it.
Last night, Miley ripped into Rick Santorum over his stance on gay marriage, and also tore into Urban Outfitters for supporting his campaign.
Good for her for taking a stand and fighting for something that she believes in. Kudos to Miley. Those are words I never thought I would type, but the girl is right. This is an issue that is close to her heart, obviously because it is the right thing to do. Miley isn’t “different” and hasn’t had any experience in being denied any rights, so she isn’t speaking from experience, she’s speaking from the heart.
And we say, you go girl!
We’re glad to see someone standing up for the right thing. We wish more people would do the right thing, instead of trying to impose their beliefs on everyone else. Good for her.
