Bethenny Frankel and husband of two years, Jason Hoppy, do indeed seem to be headed for a nasty split. It’s rumored that both have already met with divorce attorneys. Several sources have reported that divorce is imminent and Frankel, for her part, has yet to issue a denial.
When asked on twitter if she and Jason were splitting up her coy reply was: “We’re going to talk about everything on my show.” Frankel is nothing if not a savvy business woman and in the past she has been quick to shoot down incorrect rumors about her personal life. At the same time she may be fanning the marriage-in-trouble buzz to help bring viewers to her talk show which is set to debut in some markets this summer.
According to Star Magazine, even Frankel’s mother, Bernadette Burke, saw this coming, “This was dead in the water even before it began. His (Jason’s) problem is he’s too nice, and she’ll grab another nice one. He is replaceable. Nice is boring, and Bethenny gets bored with nice.”
Also adding kerosene to the divorce rumor is Frankel’s closeness to business partner, Matt Hesse. The twosome was awfully close according to an eyewitness, “They walked through the restaurant with his chest pressed up against her back, and she leaned back and he whispered in her ear. Then, they went up the stairs to a private dining area together, literally with their arms wrapped around each other.”
