Aly Raisman Dancing With the Stars Rumba Video 5/13/13

ALY RAISMAN danced a RUMBA on the semifinals episode of DANCING WITH THE STARS: 2013 performance show tonight. On this week’s show the six remaining couples performed two routines, inching their way one step closer to the coveted mirror ball trophy.   If you missed the show, we recapped tonight’s show for you and if you want to see how all the couples did go HERE!

In the first round, the remaining couples will dance a dance that twitter users voted on. [VIDEO HERE] It will be either a Flamenco, Charleston, Afro Jazz, Lindy Hop and Hip Hop.  The second dance will be a ballroom or Latin style dance they have yet to perform this season.

Judges comments: Carrie Ann: “Aly way to go, the Rumba is all about women and you were all women out there.  I cannot believe maturity of your performances.”  Len: “It had romance but not raunchy.  I heard you say you had to grow and you have grown.  Well done.”  Bruno: “The butterfly has taken wonderful wings.  Your story has been magnificent.  The right balance between romance and body flow.  You did it perfect!”

One couple will be eliminated at the end of the night.  To celebrate its 300th episode the show will feature music by The Wanted, who will perform their hit, “Fill A Heart,” and Avril Lavigne will perform her new single, “Here’s to Never Growing Up.”  The 300th show celebration will feature a spectacular opening number choreographed by Jason Gilkison with 22 pro and returning favorites, including Chelsie Hightower, Dmitry Chaplin, Louis VanAmstel and Anna Trebunskaya. In addition, “AT&T Spotlight Performance” returns for its final installment of the season featuring Sophia Lucia, an incredible 10-year-old dancer who recently set the Guinness World Record for consecutive pirouettes.
